ST MICHAEL’S CHORISTERS St Michael’s Choristers (our junior choir) is looking for new members aged anywhere between 4-14. We rehearse every Friday at 5.30 to 6.20 in term time and we will be singing at Mass more regularly from September. There is no need to be able to read music (or even to be able to read) since we try to include all ability levels. If you’re interested, or would like to come along to a few rehearsals to try us out, please speak to Catherine Crabtree, Debbie Fernando or Fr Paul. DATE FOR YOUR DIARY Vigil of Prayer at St Michael’s on the eve of the visit of Pope Benedict XV1, WEDNESDAY,15TH SEPTEMBER FROM 8PM TO 11PM. The Vigil will consist of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and other devotions. Parishioners are requested to consider a half hour period of prayer on a rota to ensure the Church is not left unattended..

Tel : 020 8777 2000 PAPAL VISIT HYDE PARK PRAYER VIGIL SATURDAY, 18TH SEPTEMBER MASS OF BEATIFICATION,BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY,19TH SEPTEMBER Please note that seven places are remaining for the Birmingham event. Our allocation for the Hyde Park event is thirtytwo. Fr Paul is currently the Pilgrim Leader for Birmingham and John Miles for Hyde Park. Please speak to either for further details. However, please bear in mind that both occasions involve either an overnight journey or an early start and so physical fitness and stamina will be required. It is anticipated that Cofton Park, Birmingham will be open about 3.00am on the morning of the Mass of Beatification, so that everyone is in place by around 8.30am. It is anticipated that Hyde Park will open late morning on Saturday, 18th September and that the Vigil will end around 9pm.
