DATE FOR YOUR DIARY Vigil of Prayer at St Michael’s on the eve of the visit of Pope Benedict XV1, WEDNESDAY,15TH SEPTEMBER FROM 8PM TO 11PM. The Vigil will consist of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and other devotions. Parishioners are requested to consider a half hour period of prayer on a rota to ensure the Church is not left unattended. PABO APPEAL As you are aware Fr Paul made a pastoral visit to Pabo a few weeks ago and he appealed on their behalf last Sunday for support to help all those suffering from devastation and destruction caused by 20-25 years of warfare. To raise funds to this end Rodney Marrison is walking from Merstham, Surrey to Canterbury Cathedral, Kent on 6th/10th August on the North Downs Way (Pilgrims Way). He will walk a total of 83 miles (134kms). If you would like to sponsor him please add your name to the

PAPAL VISIT HYDE PARK PRAYER VIGIL SATURDAY, 18TH SEPTEMBER MASS OF BEATIFICATION,BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY,19TH SEPTEMBER Please note that the list for the Birmingham event is now closed. Our allocation for the Hyde Park event is thirtytwo. It is anticipated that Cofton Park, Birmingham will be open about 3.00am on the morning of the Mass of Beatification, so that everyone is in place by around 8.30am. It is anticipated that Hyde Park will open late morning on Saturday, 18th September and that the Vigil will end around 9pm.
